After the Israeli Security Forces, throughout the past days, have detained some of the figures and the leaders of the Palestinian Civil Society Movement, such as Dr. Ahmed Al-Meslemani (the Executive Director of the Health Work Committees and one of the prominent Civil Activists in Palestine) on the 19th of November 2001, the time has come for the Human Rights Activists to perform their role in the protection of their Palestinian fellow Activists.

Thus the Arab Program for Human Rights Activists urges all the Regional and International Organizations to show their usual solidarity and pour support in the APHRA&Mac182;s campaign for the Palestinian Prisoners in the Israeli Prisons - especially the Civil Society and the Human Rights Activists. The APHRA will re-open all the files of the Arab Detainees in the Israeli Prisons, and circulate them widely. The APHRA also welcome your support and will willingly circulate and publish all the information received regarding this issue. The Campaign as well aims mostly at forcing the Israeli Authorities to respect and abide by the Fourth Geneva Convention.

Respects
