As you've probably noticed it still under construction. In fact our web site will somewhat always be under construction, as it is going to change, to evolve, to have a life of its own.
The Palestinet Project is against any kind of violence. Its message is that of solidarity. But to our statement which says there can be no peace without justice and there can be no justice without truth, we add that there can be no peace without respect and tolerance either. Thus that is knowledge that leads to respect ... and it is also knowledge that leads to thruth.
The Palestinet Project's main goals are :
- Link all solidarity groups, activists and friends of the Palestinian people together. Echo the Palestinian Beat
- Provide quality information and analysis about the situation in the Middle-East, in Palestine in particular
- Defend the rights of the Palestinian people, specially their right for self-determination and the return of the refugees.
- Promote dialogue between Arabs and Israelis
The Palestinet Project does not want to be "yet another Palestinian web site", or a "Palestine Encyclopedia" There are already some very good web sites out there... but again a cyber-crossroad where anyone can get basic information and find other ressources (ie links, adresses, references) much more complete, detailed ...
